Your average unusual Balkans

All these pictures have been taken during a one-month road trip though the Balkans (Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia) in Summer 2017. I love the Balkans' eclecticism. Anything can happen on a given day. You can visit an apparently abandoned mosque, only to find out it is actually run by a group of dervishes from Istanbul. And then later, taking a stroll by the shore, nothing easier than to spot a cow enjoying a refreshing bath in the lake! This is what I love about the Balkans: nothing is boring, everything is full of life.
