Magneto (2019 - ongoing)

Going into lives and passions of people who we consider (almost) unknown. How can we do it? Technology it\'s very helpful in these cases. Never before it\'s enough a simple search on an engine or a social network… and that\'s it, privacy violated, life takes shape and become material. We outline a profile, imagination is replaced by certainty. We have seen, read everything about him/her, finally has been emerged a prejudice. It\'s pure voyeurism but in a transformed way, where excitement has been replaced by anxiety, in which stereotype has served, doubt abolished. Damn it, too easy. I want their privacy, but not in this fashion. I want to deepen into their true intimacy. The magnets on their fridge will reveal who they are. Like chunks arranged in a casual way at first glance, they will bring out a complex identity, true and no longer mediated by appearance. Installation All the images will be projected and/or printed in 1:1 ratio based on the dimension of the relative fridge model.

Who am I?
It is a question to which I cannot entirely answer yet. I do not recall my (own) past very much, and perhaps this is why I began to photograph. If I had to think about the role photography has in my life I would connect it to the possibility to indelibly memorize my recollections. I am not looking for a direct way to tell a story, and indeed, not even tell the facts objectively; on the opposite I bring my feelings regarding a social issues. I think the deeper aspects are always hidden and must be interpreted. That's the reason why my photography isn't direct. They tell about a problem, but they do it in a surreal way. It's my language, my way of communicating and let me hear.

From self discover this passion. Then I shall study at the Roman School of Photography and Officine Fotografiche to improve my skill. Previously my interests were tied to a different kind, in fact, I graduated in Aerospace Engineering. I've worked as assistant for the artist Silvia Camporesi until August 2018.
