Colors of Morocco

Little burst of color waft like spirits through the ancient streets of Morocco, welcoming us to explore the colors within. Like a birthing of creation, the formless take form, aligning with beauty and illuminating the pathway awash with symbolism. The cities are assigned colors celebrating their history. The green, representing Islam. The blue, for the Jewish settlers and the eyes of the Berbers. Yellow, the color of the Sahara Red, for the earth and White for Morocco itself. The simplicity brings an ease and a flow that comes from an authentic life. And from there, a wellspring of peace.

I love capturing day-in-the-life photos of locals and indigenous cultures and feel a pull to preserve the wisdom their ancestors have passed on through the ages.
