The city on the beach
Having relocated to The Hague, I have become deeply fascinated by the city, in particular the North Sea coastal region. The local beaches play a key role in shaping the identity of the city and her residents. For a photographer, the interplay between European cityscape, and the sand, ocean and coastal animals, bathed in the rare-but-crisp Dutch sunlight provides a visual feast, and endless possibilities to connect with the culture, and tell the stories as they are revealed to me.
