Noirisms

This is a set of black and white manipulated studio portraits, landscapes and other shots - designed to invoke my own cinematic visions, with a strong homage to the cinema of Film Noir and the early horror movies of the 1930's - 50's. A contemporary photographic vision, that adheres closely to the work of film directors such as Lang, Hitchcock, Ford, Wilder and Welles!

Jack Savage

Jack Savage is a fine art photographer and digital artist. Born in Northampton, England (1980) - He was educated at Nottingham University, where he carries an MA in American Studies and Film. He is also an Adobe certified expert in Photoshop CC and Photoshop trainer. Finalist of the prestigious Siena Photo Awards 2017/2018/2019. Winner of the much coveted Pangea Prize 1st Place in the Open Monochrome category at Siena Photo Awards 2017. Winner of the Fine Art Professional category - 1st Place at the Black and White Spider Awards 2017.
Winner of the Portrait category - 1st Place winner at The Chromatic Photo Awards 2017. Winner of a Professional Gold Medal in Fine Art, at OneEyeland Top 10 Black and White Photography Awards 2018, and an overall ranking of 2nd place for Professional Photography for the UK. In early 2019 Jack was a double finalist at OneEyeland Top 10 Black and White Photography Awards 2019, in the Professional categories of Portrait and Fine Art. Jack also won Gold - 1st Place at The Tokyo International Foto Awards 2018, in the category of Professional - Fine Art - Special Effects, . Also in 2019 Jack received a Silver award from PX3 Awards, The Prie de la Photographie Paris 2019, in the category of Professional FineArt/Digitally Enhanced.
